PART I

CONSTITUTION OF THE HONG KONG FŒT TRUST

3. (1) (a) For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of

this Ordinance, there shall be constituted a Hong Kong Fort

Trust which shall consist of ten commissioners appointed by

the Governor.

(b) of these commissioners so to be appointed, one

shall, in and by his commission, be appointed Chairman of the

Port Trust and shall preside over meetings of the

Commissioners.

(e) of the remaining nine commissioners se to be

appointed, three shall be permanent government officials.

Commissioners appointed under this paragraph

are in this Ordinance referred to as "Official Commissioners".

(a) of the remaining six commissioners to be

appointed and nominated by the Governor two shall be

nominated by the Governor and shall be identified with such

interests concerned with the administrationof this Ordinance

as he may think advisable, save only that at least one shall

be of Chinese race. Of the remaining four commissioners so

to be appointed three shall be appointed by the Governor on

the nomination/the General Chamber of Commerce, and one

shall be appointed by the Governor on the nomination of the

Chinese Chamber of Commerce

OR ALTERNATIVELY

(a) The remaining six commissioners so te be appointed

and nominated by the Governor shall be identified with such

interests concerned with the administration of this

Ordinance as he may think a dvisable, save only that nət

less than two shall be of Chinese race.
